Hi and thanks for visiting.

I really enjoy sharing my passion for walking in the hills and mountains of the UK. I spent the first few years of my walking life in and around Snowdonia and loved sharing my travels through my instagram page Exploring Snowdonia-Eryri. It was through the page that I found my feet as a Mountain Leader, passing on skills and knowledge to help people find their own feet in the mountains. I was lucky enough to meet and become friends with so many lovely people and as that chapter of my life ends, I hope to take some of them with me!

This website and the new page - UKMountainDays is where the new chapter starts. As well as walking in Snowdonia, over the last few years, I have grown very fond of Scotland and the mind boggling vastness of the mountains there and feel that it's time to branch out a little bit.

From 2021, when the difficulties of the current situation have (hopefully!) calmed down, I will be working to offer some really amazing opportunities to venture North and take a few of you with me.

If you are one of the many people who have played a part in the last few years of my life - thank you so much. I really hope you come and join me in the future and spread your own wings a little. If you're new to the mountains or my page, thanks. I hope you find something useful. I will try to add some bits and pieces when I can but my spare time is usually spent walking or climbing in the mountains! Feel free to drop a message or subscribe to receive updates on blogs and events.

Thanks again and see you soon - Jamie.
